Who doesn’t love a warm, fresh slice of banana bread?! It’s the perfect thing to serve with breakfast, or to enjoy as a yummy afternoon snack. This recipe was adapted from my great grandma’s recipe…it’s just a little healthier and I think she would LOVE IT. 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter (room temperature)
  • ¾ cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 medium-sized bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

Mix butter, honey, eggs, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix until completely incorporated. Bake at 350 degrees F for 55-60 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
